Redstone supports ECHO, a lake aquarium and science center whose mission is to educate and delight people about the ecology, culture, history, and opportunities for stewardship of the Lake Champlain Basin. Redstone has been a sponsor of various travelling exhibits including "Turtle Travels" and is proudly sponsoring the newest permanent exhibit "Frog World.

Redstone proudly supports the Vermont Children's Aid Society as a sponsor of several annual events. During the holiday season Redstone purchases and wraps Christmas gifts for children of all ages, which the Vermont Children's Aid society delivers to families located around the Chittenden County area.

Redstone is a major donor to Champlain College's Power of Three: Giving Students Room to Grow campaign. The three new buildings will house innovative technologies and provide new facilities to enhance academic excellence well into the future.

BCAs External Exhibitions program curates 3 areas of the Airport with local artists from the BCA Artist Database. These sections are located at the Skyway, Gates 18 and near the escalator in main portion of the building. Artwork rotates every few months in these locations.

The Vermont Metro Gallery at the BCA Center presents and sells the artwork of Vermont artists working in a wide variety of contemporary media, with a focus on artists who are underrepresented in the Vermont market. Burlington City Arts arrives at this new venture through a missiondriven need to support Vermont artists and evolve Vermont's brand for the visual arts. As a nonprofit organization with 20 years of experience presenting nationally renowned contemporary exhibitions and extensive experience in art sales with corporate and private clients, BCA is wellpositioned to expand its service to both artists and the community. Exhibiting artists will benefit from BCA's established brand, and all Vermont artists, professional and emerging, will benefit from the Vermont Metro Gallery's larger efforts to better position them in the marketplace. At the same time, the community will receive a meaningful opportunity to purchase art work that is uniquely local and that supports the perpetuation of new artmakers of all ages through BCA's extensive education programs.

The original Metropolitan Gallery was the first BCA gallery to feature local artists located in the foyer of City Hall in 1982. With the opening of BCA's Firehouse Gallery (now the BCA Center) in 1995, exhibitions began to showcase artwork by local and national artists intended to promote a rich public dialogue about contemporary issues through the arts rather than commercial sales. The BCA Center has since built an exceptional reputation for its contemporary exhibitions and will continue to bring outside voices into the Vermont arts landscape and support emerging artists. Now, by harnessing the enthusiasm and pride in the Vermontmade and focusing resources on the new Metro Gallery, BCA will return to some of its roots as a showplace for local/regional artists in Burlington.

Thanks to the support of the John Bissell Foundation, Burlington City Arts has purchased a large inflatable outdoor movie screen (25 feet wide, the biggest portable screen in the state!) and a high definition projector. The City has a tremendous new asset that will allow businesses , community nonprofits, educational institutions and others to host large outdoor screenings for up to 500 people in places like City Hall Park, Battery Park, the Church Street Marketplace, Waterfront Park and beyond the possibilities are endless! Imagine film premieres, classic film series, soccer tournaments, social documentaries and family favorites all possible at large community gatherings and events. Our hope is to make these amazing assets available to nonprofits organizations for community building, fundraising and or just plain entertainment. We believe it will add to Burlingtons attractiveness as a creative, exciting and funfilled city.
