A large neighborhood located on Orlando's east side, Southeast is located between Azalea Park and Bithlo. Highway 528 extends along the south side of the neighborhood, and the University of Central Florida and Central Florida Research Park are on the north end. Alafaya is part of the Southeast neighborhood, a popular CDP. If you are looking for apartments near UCF, look along Alafaya Trail, University Boulevard, and Research Parkway. Southeast is about 10 miles from Downtown Orlando, and Colonial Drive offers an easy commute to the city from Southeast.For the most part, this apartment complex is wonderful. However, the new trash system they just decided to set up is horrible. Paying 25$ a month for trash valet and there's so many violations that cost an additional $25 for each incident. The old system looked so much nicer and was much easier.
