That said, we had many minor maintenance issues over the years that were never addressed.. Shortly before we left, they put in a huge parking lot paved over where the pool used to be (which was a joke it was open for one summer in a the 6ish years we lived there).. The lot offered no real advantages to street parking, or to the existing lot that was slightly farther down the street.. It was supposed to be code entry only, but the doors would always get left open (or maybe stuck?) They seem to have a slightly larger maintenance team now, and finally got a snow blower the winter before we moved.. But there's still often garbage strewn outside, people don't pick up after their dogs, and yeah, huge accumulations of garbage/recycling/furniture/etc.. Overall? Probably better than a lot of options in the area, but still far from perfect.. There was often no one staffing the office during their posted hours, and if you want to reach them on the phone you typically have to call multiple times, sometimes multiple days in a row.. HOWEVER, the maintenance has gone down in the 3 years that we have lived here.. Spacious apartments and well kept, park like grounds set Rugby Square apart.. We're nestled in the superb neighborhood of Sedgwick in Syracuse, New York, adjacent to a tranquil park and just ten minutes from downtown.. Situated along a quiet, tree lined street, this pedestrian friendly area is within walking distance to shopping centers, restaurants, and Salem Hyde Elementary School..
